Essence Express Wayne Hotel

Although I faced some challenges, including a lingering smoke smell and less than desirable cleanliness standards, I appreciated the hotel’s affordable rates and the friendly staff. It's conveniently located near many dining options. Just be prepared to overlook some flaws.

It was enjoyable base for traveling to Wayne, I was glad to stay there. The staff were amiable and nice and assisted me greatly. I really enjoyed that the hotel was 30 minutes drive from the airport.

Got a decent deal for my stay! The room had a cozy vibe and was somewhat clean, but the smoke smell was strong, totally not like the photos!

The location is great, just 20 km from MetLife Stadium! We had a blast exploring the area, and with three teens, the accessibility was a huge plus for us.

My kids wished for better cleanliness in the hallways. A thorough cleaning would really make it more family-friendly.

The room had air conditioning, tv, microwave, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. The towels and bed linens were clean, and toiletries like shampoo and body soap were provided. There's also heating and a refrigerator for convenience. The outside looked decent, which gave a good first impression.

Not impressed at all

The room was pretty bare, just towels and washcloths, no fridge or microwave. My TV didn't even work, and the manager couldn't understand what I needed. Found hair on the bed, yuck! Plus, the bathroom wasn't clean. The location is decent but honestly, it feels more like a rundown apartment than a hotel stay.

The nearby dining scene has great options, including TGI Fridays and Olive Garden. The bed in the Beautiful King Room was clean and comfy. Location was convenient for exploration. Quiet enough to rest well. Decent experience 😊

Cigarette smell and dirty floors.

The room had a really comfy bed and was super clean, made for a great night's sleep. I loved chilling by the pool and took advantage of the hot tub. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times 😊

The food scene nearby is lit! TGI Fridays and Olive Garden are just a stone's throw away, perfect for a solid meal after exploring. Plus, the bed in my Beautiful King Room was clean and comfy enough to catch some z's.
